Without a decent education, a child from a poor family background has little chance to break the cycle of poverty. The girls in our program have been given a great opportunity to attend private school. The public school system in Colombia is chaotic, more of a holding tank for kids rather than an institution that offers equal opportunity. Those who can afford private education opt for it, even if it requires sacrifice. The local private Christian school the girls attend has provided scholarships to lower our costs. Your donation fills the gap and enables each girl to attend with her "sisters". There they can receive the support they need to make up for lost time and catch up to grade level.
